Synthesis of Berberinephenolbetaine Derivatives

Abstract

|
|
Various 7-substituted compounds and 8-methylberberinephenolbetaine derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of aromatic chlorides and alkyl chlorides with dichloromethane from compound ´241 to compound[501 as good yield. The structures of the obtained compounds were proved by NMR, IR and MS.
